My good friend Libby was diagnosed with stage 4 BC early this year. It's never happened to anyone that I've actually known before and to see her courage and hope is inspiring to say the least. Thats why this year when calendar time came around, I wanted to do something to raise awareness to the cause and also support Libby in one of the only ways a starving artist can. Available to your left is my '2010 Across the Universe' calendar, this is a special Breast Cancer/Libby Williams edition available only here on DevianArt. All artist profits from sales of the calendar will go directly to Libby to help with medical costs. So, tell your friends and family and support a great cause... even if you not able to purchase the calendar, I ask you post a thumb in your journal to help me spread the word... It isn't about favs and exposure this time. This time its for someone and a cause that could use your support; you never know when it can hit someone you know.


It is with great sadness that I report to you that my camera equipment, Canon 40D, 28-135mm, 10-22mm, 70-300mm, 50mm 1.8, and various filters and accessories has been stolen. Anyone who knows me knows it is my pride and joy and has never left my side. The worst part? It had to have been taken by someone i know. I mean it in all sincerity when I say that if you were in hard times and felt you needed to take such measures that I hope you got a decent amount of money for it and that it gets you back on your feet. Honestly. I just want you to know that you didn't just take my camera... You took my outlet, my solace and my complacency... Photography is not something I do, but something I feel, its inside me and now I'm left with no form of escape or creative release. Not only that, but also you've taken about 5 months from me, as that is how long it will take me to save approx for a new one.
