CONCEPT:
I think your idea behind this was a very nice one, and it was pulled off very well. Good work!
ORIGINALITY:
This definitely won't be mistaken for just another waterfall photo. The use of the wooden fence to make a natural frame for one side really takes this to another level. Even if that was not there, it still would be a gorgeous picture.
TECHNIQUE:
Very nice technique here. It shows that you really thought things through and contemplated different angles before you took the shot.
The framing, as I said before, is very well done. The only thing, is it feels just a little too heavy; it seems to cover too much up. Even so, I don't really think there is much of a way to fix this, since it is more the size of the original fence, and you took the best angle with what you had to work with.
Though I feel the colors could be slightly more vibrant (maybe play around with Levels in Photoshop, if you have it), they are still true to what the original landscape must have looked like. You did a great job with contrast as well, though (as with the colors) it could have been enhanced just a bit more.
IMPACT:
All in all, this is a well-framed photograph, with a large interest factor and great respect for the area. The details are crisp and the colors true. I applaud you!! Please keep up the good work!
OVERALL
+s: Interesting angle and natural frame, great detail.
-s: Colors could be more vibrant, slightly more contrast.
